HER EMAIL:  kathleen@interfaithallianceco.org
It was brought to my attention yesterday that there have been some continued emails and harassment of panel members from the Safe Outdoor Space community calls last week. While I am happy to meet with you to discuss concerns, the model, and work together to try to move forward, the continued threats and harassment lead to concerns that a good faith call is not possible at this time.

I would request that you end the harassing emails and threats to those assisting in the discussion around the SOS.

MY RESPONSE:

Respectfully, you are and continue to be misinformed. However, given how this has been handled by you and your "board", I am not surprised. You can continue to run and hide from those opposed to you, but we will be heard. We have no plans to make this easy for you. Your actions in forcing this upon residents without any input from us, negate any of the well placed intentions that may have originally been behind this.

We have and will continue to call for Travis Leiker's resignation from CHUN as he is not a RESIDENT of Capitol Hill and therefore has no business speaking on its behalf. It's a scam that he's any part of this and you know it.

You can choose to disengage from those who have different beliefs than you as long as you want. We'll continue to fight and demand that our voices be heard. You, your organization, and anyone else who participated in forcing this scam upon us should be ashamed and embarrassed.

I'll let the 100+ neighbors who oppose this action know that you all have declined to take a good faith meeting. I'll have them email you directly. You can call it harassment, but this is how democracy works when you all conduct actions which affect peoples' lives, in the dark of night, parading under the banner of religion.

I've been a churchgoer my whole life. I've supported people experiencing homelessness my whole life and have raised and donated millions of dollars for them. Google me. Given that background, I feel all the more righteous in saying your organizations' actions are an embarrassment to people of all faiths.
